Catalog Music opened as a record shop in Fortitude Valley, Magandjin/Meanjin (Brisbane) — a DJ-focused store that ran from 2020 to 2026. It was built on community: a room that doubled as an event space, a place to dig, hear a set and track down the pressing you'd been chasing. Behind the counter sat thirty-five years of crate digging — the kind of knowledge you only get from hauling boxes, grading sleeves and chasing pressings across continents.

The shelves have closed, but the catalogue and the ear behind it didn't. Catalog Music is now an all-in-one platform for record sellers: an active marketplace where buyers are already digging, a fully customisable webstore builder, and Spindle — background inventory sync that keeps your stock, prices and sale states accurate across eBay, Amazon, Discogs, Shopify, Square and WooCommerce. One catalogue, one identity, every channel.

Vinyl Atlas grew from the same crate-digging travel experience: a map of the world's record shops built from years of digging, travel and community recommendations. It started as a way to help crate-diggers find the best shops wherever they landed, and grew into the geographic spine connecting the marketplace, Spindle and every seller's webstore. The three platforms share the same catalogue and seller identity — so stock, listings, store pages and place on the map stay linked without duplicating data or chasing multiple dashboards.
